The colours permitted for an English Springer Spaniel are liver and white, black and white, or either of these colours with tan markings.

Any other colour or combination of colours are unacceptable.

That means that a true English Springer cannot be blue, blue roan, orange, gold, lemon, brown, tan, chocolate or sable!
